Jesus commanded us to do many things, being silent was not one of them.
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, – Matthew 28:19
He actually commanded the opposite, He told us to make disciples of all nations, to go out into the world and share the gospel with all. I understand this can be very intimidating, especially today. But you must remember, it was, even more, intimidating at the time of the early apostles, they were executed on spot for sharing the gospel, yet that did not even slow it down, the gospel continued to spread!
What do we fear today? That we will offend someone? Or they won’t be our friend anymore? Do not forget the reason we share the gospel, we share it to save their soul, we share it because we care about that person.
Today we encounter a lot of different faiths or lack thereof. It may be hard to know how to witness to each one individually. If you want more information on the subject I highly recommend the book “Dare 2 Share” by Greg Stier. The book goes into great detail about sharing your faith. It also has information on witnessing to different beliefs, you can find these resources below.
