Hello, friends.

Welcome to the blog! It’s hard to start a one-sided discussion cold-turkey, so I suppose the best way to begin a Christian blog is to state what Christianity means to me.

God is love.

He is the creator of the universe and He adores all of His creation. Christianity is living a life that expresses to tell as many people as we can of this love. This love is not small. This love is not weak. It is infinite and undying and forgiving and there is no way we can deserve it. However, we don’t have to.

Christianity is God loving us so much He sent His only son to die a horrific death. Christianity is God allowing a sinner like me to enter eternal paradise with Him.

I am not innately good and I am not innately great, but His love is. His love is larger than the sky and

deeper than the sea. It’s perfect and unconditional.

To be answered simply, Christianity is love. As Christians, it is our duty to love. We are one and the same with everyone around us. Each one of us is fearfully and wonderfully made creations. The only difference between Christians and the rest of the world is that we recognize God’s greatness.

So use your actions to show God’s love. If you truly believe the only thing separating you from eternal damnation is God’s love, would you not want others to see it? Hate is not of God. Express love. As the expression goes, honey works better than vinegar.

1 John 4:7 – “Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is begotten of God, and knoweth God.”

With love, Ann Livers
